FK Lowry achieved recognition as an Investors in People organisation in 2000 and this has been successfully reviewed and accreditation maintained to date. Throughout this time the business has continued to grow and develop and has invested in a range of modern piling rigs and support machinery, equipped with modern technology to deliver a quality assured foundation service to its customers. During this period of change the organisation has used the Investors in People Standard to strengthen the people management and development process that support this change on the ground. This has included raising the profile of “people” as a key business resource and as such has developed and strengthened staff training and qualifications in safety, operations and quality.

FK Lowry Piling recently underwent a review by an external consultant to establish if the business was still achieving the required standard to retain the Investors in People standard. We were delighted to receive a report commending our commitment to both developing our staff and also how we response to our client’s requirements, this positive assessment has result in FK Lowry retaining the IIP award.

The company achieved recognition as an investor in people organisation in 2000 and was successfully reviewed in 2003, 2006 and 2009. The purpose of the recent review in September 2012 was to ensure that current practices within the business continue to meet the current Standard. Having carried out the review the Investors in People Specialist Assessor was delighted to confirm that FK Lowry Piling Limited continues to meet the requirements of the Investors in People National Standard.
